I’m constantly on the hunt for comfort shoes for work. I’m on my feet and running around all day at work, and my feet have definitely been angry at me over the years for some of my shoe choices. Today, I wanted to share my review of the Naturalizer Channing and Saban shoes. I’m sure many others are on their feet all day at work as well, and I hope you find this review helpful!
Naturalizer Channing Loafer
Black leather, Size 4M
This loafer was shockingly small! As a small size 4, most of my shoes need extra lining or padding to fit. A good chunk of the time, shoes are too large to be remedied with inserts, and end up being returned. These shoes were a perfect fit without socks. But we need socks. To be fully comfortable at work, I’d like to wear these with thick socks. With thick socks, the shoes are far too tight.
Comfort-wise, I give these loafers a thumbs up on first try! The cushioning felt decent, nothing rubbed, and my toes weren’t squished in the toe box.
The shoes were also a lot slimmer fitting than I imagined. Comfort shoes tend to a have a bad rep for being clunky and ugly, so this is a good thing!
Since the only issue was the shoes being too tight with thick socks, I will be repurchasing these in size 5.
Naturalizer Saban Flats
Black suede, Size 4M
The Saban flats fit true to size. Although when I press my fingers against the insole, I can feel some cushioning, once on, I can’t feel the cushioning at all. On first try, the shoes feel hard against the widest part of my foot and my ankle.
Unfortunately, I will be returning and not re-ordering these. It’s possible that these shoes can be broken in. However, since I’m on my feet up to 13 hours a day at work, I can’t really break these in without murdering my feet.
These flats received great reviews online, and many purchasers raved about their comfort. As everyone has different experiences, if you’re interested in this style, it might still be worth trying!
If you’re on the hunt for comfort shoes, I hope you found my review of the Naturalizer Channing and Saban shoes helpful! Stay tuned to see the Channing loafers (the ones I’m repurchasing in size 5) in future outfit photos!
