I rescued another item from my donation pile! On Monday, I talked about how I found a new purpose for my old duster, styled casually with platform sandals. Today, I’m sharing another outfit with my duster, a petite-friendly work outfit.
This outfit was so comfortable for work! Under my duster, I’m wearing a tencel modal bardot top from Reformation. The pants are flared yoga pants from ASOS, and the shoes are a cushioned pair of ankle boots from Blondo. All the materials were stretchy and breathable, which kept me comfortable throughout the work day.
Cleansing my wardrobe has been a funny process. On the one hand, I feel a weight lifted from my shoulders as I donate items that I’ve held onto for years that don’t bring me joy. On the other hand, as I build and strengthen my sense of my personal style, pieces such as this duster, that I was once unsure about, suddenly find their place in my wardrobe.
In case you missed Monday’s post, I first styled my duster with capri length leggings and 90s platform sandals. Another comfortable outfit! The leggings are stretchy, and this style of sandals don’t rub my feet at all.
