Happy Easter everyone! Hope everyone’s having a lovely weekend so far. The weather is slowly starting to warm up where we are, and I’m SO looking forward to doing warm weather things – like getting ice cream! Although to be honest, I’ve been known to get a cone here and there in the middle of winter too. Since the weather was so nice this weekend, we decided to stop by an ice cream shop for a treat. I wanted to share what I wore and do a review of this H&M hole-knit sweater, because there was a bit of trial and error with this purchase. Super excited for you to see because nothing screams spring outfit more than lime green!
Sizing & Fit
I ended up purchasing 3 different sizes of this sweater – XXS, XS, and S. For reference, I’m 4’11” and about 85 lbs. I purchased my usual size XXS first. While the body length was fine, the sleeves felt awkwardly short on me.
So I placed a second order for both XS and S, and here’s where it got strange. The XS had a shorter body length than the XXS (see how the pockets on my jeans are visible), but longer sleeves. I actually kind of liked the cropped length, but I still felt like the sleeves could have been a smidge longer.
So then I tried on the S. The S had only a slightly longer body length than the XS, but was wider, and had longer sleeves than both the XXS and XS.
I stacked all 3 sizes on top of each other for easier comparison below. I also measured the body length and width, as well as sleeve length and width, for all 3 sizes for your reference. **Note that in the last picture, I did not line up the collars of the 3 sweaters, which is why it might look like the body lengths get longer with increasing size.**
Verdict
I ended up keeping the S. Even though I kind of liked the cropped fit of the XS, I felt most comfortable with the longer sleeves of the S.
I hope you enjoyed seeing this lime green spring outfit, and hope that you found this review helpful! Lime green is a pretty bold color – how do you feel about it? Would you wear something in lime green?
