Ogunquit, ME | road trip outfit, food, mini golf

It’s been a bit, but I’m back this week with another road trip for the travel diary. We actually took this trip a while back, but between work, feeling pooped come the weekend, and travel posts taking a bit longer to put together, I’m just getting around to writing it now.

Towards the end of July heading into August, my husband and I took a week off work and a road trip to Maine. On our first night in Ogunquit, we had dinner at Ogunquit Beach Lobster House. We had fried oysters for our appetizer, and I had lobster sliders for my entree, and they were both SO GOOD!

We had a slow morning the next day, and started our day with lunch at Pepper’s Seafood. After lunch, we walked a few minutes down the street where there was a beach and a bunch of shops where we spent the next couple hours. Looking through my camera roll, I realized I didn’t really take any stills during this outing, but I did put together this reel on my Instagram with some footage from the day.

It was pretty toasty that day, and after walking around in the heat and trying to cool down with an iced coffee, we decided to head back to hotel to rest for a bit before our next adventure. Later that evening we went to this spot down the road from our hotel that had an arcade, a maze, and mini golf.

For our second outing, I sported my new “Cat Mom” cap that I had bought earlier that day. Normally I’m not a cap gal, but this one reminded me of our cat, Grandpaw, so I had to have it.

After making our way through the maze and the mini golf course, and spending some time in the arcade, it was time to head to dinner. We chose a Mediterranean restaurant called The Front Yard, where I went with a truffle mushroom pasta for my entree. We went out for ice cream after dinner, then headed back to the hotel and called it a night.

I hope you enjoyed reading about our trip to Ogunquit, ME and seeing my road trip outfit! Stay tuned to read about the rest of our trip and see the other outfit I packed in my next post!
