As a person with very thin wrists, the search for tiny bracelets is a constant struggle. I first came across the Stella & Dot brand when I was reading a petite blogger’s review of the Renegade Cluster Bracelet, and I decided to give it a try.
My boyfriend gave me the Renegade Cluster Bracelet (top) as part of my Christmas present a couple years ago, and my sister gave me the Elephant Wishing Bracelet (bottom left) and Pave Wishing Bracelet (bottom right) for my birthday recently.
According to the Stella & Dot website, the Wishing Bracelets are adjustable from 6 inches to 9 inches in circumference, and fit small to large wrists. They do not provide the circumference of the Renegade Bracelet, but the diameter is listed as 2 and 1/4 inches. Math lovers, feel free to do the conversion: circumference = 2 π radius 😀 Stay tuned to the end to see what these circumferences translate to on the arm.
In thinking of a good way to depict the size of the bracelets, I figured it might be helpful to compare them to something most people would be familiar with: the oh so popular Alex and Ani bracelet.
At their longest length, the Wishing Bracelets are slightly larger in circumference compared to the Alex and Ani bracelet:
At their shortest length, the Wishing Bracelets are quite a bit smaller than the Alex and Ani bracelet, fitting cleanly inside its circumference:
The same goes for the Renegade Cluster Bracelet, which also fits entirely inside the Alex and Ani Bracelet:
On my wrists, which measure about 5 inches in circumference, the Renegade bracelet has the least extra room, followed by the Wishing Bracelets, and lastly by the Alex and Ani bracelet.
Although the Alex and Ani bracelet is admittedly comically large on my wrists, I love them anyway. Who doesn’t love a stack of Alex and Ani bracelets to jingle with you as you go about your day?
These bracelets are so pretty! I have small wrists too. It’s so hard to find bracelets and rings that fit correctly.
I know what you mean! I went to a jewelry store recently to have a bracelet shortened and to have my finger sized. The ladies there struggled so much to shrink the bracelet enough to fit my tiny wrists. My ring size came out to a mere 3.5.
