After every shift at work, my brain does this wonderful thing where it just kind of dies. Pushing daisies, bite the dust, it ain’t functional. Originally, today wasn’t actually my shift, but as I need one of my shifts off in the near future, I was forced to switch with someone and work this Saturday. Working in a very hectic environment for 9 hours straight makes you tunnel vision big time to get everything done, and after a while you start to forget that there’s life going on outside the building and elsewhere. Once you finally get home and snap out of it, it’s the weirdest feeling. For hours after, I just kick back, enjoy a nice meal, and wait until my brain reboots.
Tonight we just had stir-fried macaroni, and while I didn’t snap any picture of that, I did snap some pictures of Tuesday night’s dinner:
This is some flounder dish that my sister made. Normally, I would give you the name of the dish in case you’re interested in trying it out yourself, but I have no idea what this is. I know it has flounder, soy sauce, and cilantro – but I’m sure it has more ingredients than that.
Anyhow, it looked pretty so I thought I’d snap some pictures and share =).
Hope you’re having a good weekend! My apologies if this post is completely out of the blue and incomprehensible. I honestly have no idea if this blog post made any sense. I’m so out of it right now!
