Hot out of the post box! I just received my Ann Taylor wrap dress in the mail today, and I wanted to do a quick review for you guys, as they seem to be selling out fast!
Size & Fit
I ordered this dress in the cheetah print, in size 00P, and it fit surprisingly well! I’ve tried a few Ann Taylor pieces in the past, and haven’t had the best of luck, so I was pleasantly surprised by this dress. For reference, I am 4’11” with a 24″ waist.
Since the dress is a true wrap dress, I figured I could probably shrink the waist quite a bit. However, I was surprised that the waist of the dress actually hit me where it was supposed to. I was also surprised that the length was actually knee-length. I often struggle with sleeve lengths being too long, but the sleeves on this dress were perfect.
This is my first ever wrap dress. So far, I’m a big fan! Being a wrap dress, there is a lot of room to give and adjust, and a lot of flexibility for movement.
Personally, I will most likely wear a black cami underneath the dress. Although the dress fits, it’s not a snug fit. So when I lean forward, there is a little gaping in the chest area. As a petite, most people I interact with are taller than me, and I’d rather not put on a show at work!
In the winter, I’d also probably throw on a pair of black tights underneath for warmth. (If you haven’t already seen my post on how to wear dress in the winter, check it out here.)
I hope you found this review of the Ann Taylor wrap dress helpful. If you’re interested in the dress, hurry and snatch it up before it sells out! If you miss it, I’ve heard these types of dresses are a regular for Ann Taylor. You can always catch it in a different print at another time!

Thanks for reading!
This dress is hella cute! I could see it with mid heels for work and trainers and a leather jacket for the weekend! x
I agree, it would look SO good with heels. I so wish I could wear heels to work, but unfortunately I’m on my feet for up to 13 hours at a time, so my feet would cry 😂!
