What better way to spend a 90 degree day than to be outside being baked alive at the Arboretum?
We have relatives visiting from another country, and as such we have been playing tour guide whenever we have time off work. My sister and I had the same day off from work recently and decided to take my uncle to the Arboretum.
It was scorching hot outside, but it was beautiful nonetheless.
Gotcha little bunny!
For our outing that day, I wore a navy blue and white polka dot dress, a pair of patent black flip flops, and a yellow handbag to complement the navy. Not realizing how much walking would be involved in visiting the Arboretum, I of course chose the completely inappropriate footwear. Regardless, I trekked on through the dirt paths in my sandals and managed to make it through without feeling too too sore.
Despite it being boiling hot and despite my desire to take my shoes off and rest, I had to stop and pose for a picture with my favorite type of tree, the weeping willow.
