Hi! This Is My Face! | Spring Jumpsuit Outfit Inspo

For a long time, I’ve been posting headless outfit pictures. I never thought it was a necessary part of my blog pictures to include my face. But then I realized that all the outfit inspirations I enjoyed seeing on blogs and Instagram all had people’s faces in them. But why?

I realized that I preferred pictures with people’s faces in them because they told more of a story.

For me, I enjoy reading blogs and scrolling through Instagram for inspiration. To be inspired, I need to be able to relate. Without a face to put to a picture, it’s harder to relate. When I see pictures of people as a whole – face, outfit, background, etc. – I picture the lifestyle they have, and draw inspiration into my own life.

All this is a long winded way of saying, “Hi! Here’s my face:”

Temperatures are still fluctuating in New England, and half the time it still feels like winter. Plus, we’re all still in quarantine, so I’m not wearing this outfit anywhere any time soon. But if we get out while it’s still nice out, this jumpsuit is definitely making an appearance!

Jumpsuits are perfect for this transitional time of year. They have a light and springy feel, but as they’re pants, they’ll give some protection and keep you from looking crazy if the temperature decides to drop.

My sister bought me this jumpsuit from Abercrombie for Christmas a couple years ago. Size XXS petite was a perfect fit on me without alterations (4’11”, 85 lbs). They currently have several petite-friendly jumpsuit options in different prints, solid colors, and necklines.

My denim jacket is a hand-me-down from my sister, but is originally from H&M. I love shopping my sister’s closet – I get free clothes, and the clothes don’t go to waste!

Do You Prefer Pictures With People’s Faces?

This is the picture I was originally going to post…

What are your thoughts on faceless pictures? Would you like the picture either way? Or would you prefer to see the face behind the camera?

I’m undecided right now if this will be a regular part of my content. I’m going to play around with it, and see where my mood takes me. But let me know your thoughts in the comments down below! I’m very curious to hear what you think!

. . . .

Thanks for reading!
