Guys, this is why I can’t be a professional fashion blogger. It’s rare nowadays for me to place a “big” online shopping order. Yep, four items is a big order for me. With age comes pickiness and frugality, and a reluctance to hit the checkout button in hopes a better sale comes along. That’s good for my wallet, but bad for the blog. Recently though, I found a few pieces I was excited about, and combined with a sale, I decided to make the purchase. So today, I wanted to do a mini H&M haul and share the pieces I found.
First up, the piece that was the cause for the haul: the elastic waist jeans. Back in November 2019, I wrote a blog post about a trip my husband and I took to Universal Studios, Florida. For that trip, I had bought a pair of elastic waist denim shorts, and I absolutely loved them. Since then, I’ve been searching for the perfect pair of elastic waist jeans, so I can wear elastic waists year round!
I love t-shirts with little details like this! This coke tee was just whimsical enough to be more interesting than a basic tee, but not so whimsical that it won’t have versatility and longevity in my closet. Its relaxed fit paired well with the loose fit jeans for a cool, casual look.
Speaking of versatility, a black turtleneck is the most versatile and most used piece of clothing in my fall and winter wardrobe every year. I’ve burned through so many both casually and professionally. Hopefully one day I’ll find a black turtleneck that will last longer than a couple years.
Lastly, I love blouses with a fitted bodice because the silhouette is so flattering. I added this pretty creped blouse to wear under cardigans in the winter, and on its own in the summer for work. Plus, it was on super sale, so it was a win-win!
I hope you enjoyed seeing the pieces that caught my eye in this mini H&M haul! Drop a like below if you did, and let me know in the comments which piece was your favorite!

Those jeans look so comfortable! And hey, there is nothing wrong with being more picky with clothing purchases. I’m finding that I am the same way!
