Nooooo! Where did the warm weather go?! It was 80 degrees and sunny all last week, and this week has been 50 degrees and nothing but clouds. We had some errands to run yesterday, and were planning to sit down for lunch somewhere while we were out. I figured a good compromise on a spring outfit that would combat the chilly breeze would be a long sleeve mini dress with OTK boots.
I loved this outfit! I felt flirty and cute in the polka dot mini dress, but sassy and powerful in the OTK boots. This dress was actually a secondhand purchase from ThredUp, but the brand is Reformation. I was heartbroken when this dress was sold out at Reformation, but was beyond thrilled when I found it on ThredUp – and in my size (XS)! The boots are the Stuart Weitzman Hiline boots in size 4.
We stopped by the post office first, then sat down for lunch at a Vietnamese pho restaurant. Husband had pho, while I opted for a vermicelli dish with grilled pork. Of course you can’t have lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant without ordering their classic iced coffee with condensed milk, so we each ordered one of those. Lunch was SO GOOD! After lunch, we went to two stores to replenish groceries and household items.
Oh, and those boots I mentioned before? They’re 4 inch heels. We were out for about 6 hours – I did pretty good, but my feet were starting to feel it in the last half hour or so!
I hope you enjoyed seeing how I styled this spring outfit with a mini dress and OTK boots! What do you like to wear in this in-between season when it’s not super warm, but also not super cold?
