Autumn is here! How has 2020 flown by so fast? In my mind, I’m still waiting for summer to come, when I can revive my basil plant and buy new plants from the nursery. Then I realize summer has come and gone, and my plants are still dead. Despite my sad looking plants, I plan to embrace the change in seasons, and make the most of the end of 2020…starting with this sweater.
Even without a calendar, you can tell when autumn is coming because the morning air is so much crisper and fresher. I love leaving the window open a crack overnight and waking up to that unique autumn morning air. On top of that, nothing beats curling back into the sheets to avoid the cold. But, eventually, I have to pry myself out of bed, and snuggle into a cozy knit cardigan instead.
This cardigan is from Abercrombie & Fitch, in size XXS, in the color Terracotta Red. For reference, I’m 4’11”, and the cardigan stops right under my bum. The sleeves actually fit fine without cuffing, but I like that cuffing makes the cardigan look even more chunky.
At full price, this cardigan is $69. However, Abercrombie seems to have sales often, and I actually purchased this on sale for $35. So if the price seems steep, I’d wait for a sale.
Abercrombie is a great place to find casual pieces in small sizes. They offer down to a size XXS, and their XXS is actually small, unlike some other brands. Depending on the piece, some pieces come in petite sizes as well. They have some great pieces for fall, so definitely check them out.
