Styling 1 Dress for 4 Seasons| H&M Ribbed Dress

Don’t pack away your summer dresses when fall comes!

I love finding ways to style the pieces in my closet to carry them through the four seasons. It not only gives me more bang for my buck, but it’s also fun to be creative with my clothes. I recently purchased this basic, ribbed dress from H&M, and I have so many ideas on how to style it. Today, I wanted to share some ideas on styling 1 dress for 4 seasons.

Summer

Let’s start with the simplest of the four: summer. Simply pop the dress on with your favorite pair of sandals and you’re done!

Fall

When the temperatures start to drop, layer a long-sleeve bodysuit or tee underneath the dress to keep you warm. Swap out the sandals for chunky sneakers for a cool, fall outfit that will keep you warm and comfortable.

Winter

When it gets even colder, you can swap out the tee for a cropped sweatshirt, or simply add the sweatshirt on top. As a petite person, I prefer a cropped sweatshirt for this look, because it elongates my bottom half. I opted for some biker boots to cover my ankles for added warmth.

Spring

Looping back around, when the weather starts to warm up again, ditch the sweatshirt, and layer a short-sleeve tee underneath the dress. For a lighter look to match the weather, I went for a slimmer pair of sneakers – Converse – in a bright, springtime lemon print (see my review here).
