Work From Home Loungewear | Abercrombie

Remember when I used to take outfit pictures here? I migrated back to my old spot today because it was so cloudy out that the lighting in my new spot was terrible. I was in the middle of doing laundry and suddenly got the urge to take outfit pictures for the blog. If only you could see the massive piles of clothes to my right. Anyway, it looks like working from home is going to be an ongoing necessity for many. While I don’t work from home, on my days off, I find myself wanting to wear something that’s still comfortable, but a little cuter to make myself feel a little more put together. My sister bought me this loungewear set from Abercrombie for Christmas, and I wanted to share some pictures and thoughts on it for anyone who’s interested.

Size & Fit

Abercrombie sometimes offers petite sizing for some of their pieces, which was not the case with this set. I’m wearing size XXS regular here, and although I spared you from having to see my bare feet, rest assured the regular length fit fine. On the model, the pant leg stops above her ankle bone and there isn’t any bunching. I’m 4’11”, and the pants cover my ankle bone, but the narrow opening keeps it from going over my heel. You can see from the picture that there is some slight bunching in the leg, but it’s not bad!

I always have trouble finding long-sleeve tops where the sleeves aren’t too long, but the sleeves on this sweatshirt were perfect. Like the pants, it helps that the sleeves are cinched at the end, so they can’t slide past my wrists. It stops at my hip bone, which for me is typically 21″-23″ (their site lists the length as 22″).

I’m absolutely in love with this set, and now I want it in more colors! Loungewear sets feel more…intentional. So I feel more put together, which puts me in a better headspace. If you’re looking for work from home loungewear options, or even if you’re not working from home and just want to feel more put together on your days off, I’d definitely recommend checking out this set.

What are your thoughts on the growing trend of loungewear?

. . . .

Thanks for reading!

    1. I’m so glad you like it! I’ve been seeing more and more places doing loungewear sets now that more people are working from home. I’d definitely recommend checking this one out; Abercrombie sometimes offers pretty good sales too.
