It’s been a little over a month since my last post, and I’m just starting to feel settled enough in our new house that I can get back into some of my old routines, like taking outfit pictures and writing! I haven’t decided yet where my new picture-taking spot will be in this house, but I liked my outfit and the lighting was good, so I just plopped my mirror down in a random spot and snapped away.
This was technically the second day of fall, but close enough. It’s starting to get chilly on some days, but still warm if you’re out in the sun. We had several errands to run that day – Home Depot for water softening salt, grocery shopping, and the post office. I figured a long dress would be a good choice for the chilly-but-not-chilly weather, and I brought a denim jacket for when it gets cold in the market.
The busier I become, the more I enjoy long dresses like these. They’re fuss-free, comfortable, easy to move in, and I don’t have to worry about what state my legs are in.
Hopefully my blog posts will be more regular going forward. We still have quite a bit to do before we feel fully settled in our new home. We just found our perfect sectional, which I’m absolutely in love with. I’m also super proud that these puny arms were able to help my husband move our old couch out and our new sectional in, just us two, no movers. Now we need to find our perfect dining table set, some coffee tables, and install a bunch of new blinds/curtains. Between all of that and working, I’m a little scatterbrained! Until next time, let me know in the comments down below how you spent your first day of fall.
