Wearing Red for Spring

I’m finally getting around to switching out my winter wardrobe for my spring wardrobe. Spring is such a fleeting season in my opinion. Mother nature teases you with sprinklings of nice weather, and then the second you think it’s officially spring, the temperature plummets.

This season, I’ve been loving wearing shades of red for spring, especially red-orange. It’s bright and energizing, which is perfect for spring. At the same time, it’s not so summery a color that I’d look like I prematurely switched my wardrobes.

Pants: ASOS, size 00 petite, TTS

Boots: Blondo, size 4, TTS

This top was handed down to me from my older sister. It had been sitting in my “maybe’ pile for donation. Ever since I started wearing flared yoga pants as work pants, I suddenly had a use for these billowy, flowy types of blouses.

This outfit formula has been so comfortable for work – a flowy top; a stretchy, figure-hugging pair of pants; and a cushioned pair of staple black shoes. Nothing’s clinging, nothing’s stiff, nothing’s unbreathable.

Have you refreshed your wardrobe for spring? What colors or styles are you loving this season? Let me know in the comments down below!
