Crazy for Polishes: Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear

I maaaayyy have gone a liiiiittle crazy with the nail polishes at CVS.  Springtime colors + 2 Sally Hansen coupons + the promise of $5 extra bucks with a $15 Sally Hansen purchase = me walking away with 5 Sally Hansen nail polishes.

Eeeeeek!  Aren’t they beautiful?!

A nude polish has been on my to-buy list for quite some time.  I did purchase the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in the shade How Nude #130 back in April to serve as my nude polish.  While it lasts FOREVER without chipping, it wasn’t quite the right shade for me.  It was a bit too yellow even for my skin tone (as I mentioned in a previous post, I have fair to light skin with yellow – and in some places like my face, pink – undertones).  My sister said “it looks like clay” on my nails =/  The one in the picture above is the Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in the shade Bare It All #105.  Much MUCH better match.  I would describe this one as nude with a hint of pink undertones (reflecting back on my last post, it makes a lot of sense to me now why this would work better).

I’ve also been wanting a bright pink polish.  As with the nude polish, I did try one from the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure line, in the shade Tickle Me Pink #410, which turned out to be a bit too dark for what I was going for.  I’m hoping this All Bright shade will be more along the lines of what I have in mind.

I am super super SUPER excited about the other 3 shades.  I’ve really been into the springtime hues lately, not just for polishes, but also for clothes and shoes.  I bought the Miracle Gel in the shade B Girl #240 (see my post here), which was a beautiful mint color.  Next on my list was a pastel blue, lilac, and I was toying with the idea of trying out white, so it just made sense that these three colors complete my ~$15 purchase (before coupons) – juuuust enough to get my extra bucks =)

Iiiii have a problem.

    1. Thank you! I did one a few posts ago featuring a mint nail polish and I kind of liked it, so I think I will do it again for these polishes as well =)

    1. That’s a great idea! Maybe I can do a follow-up post, with pictures of them on my nails and thoughts on how I like them after having used them =)

    1. I definitely will! Thank you so much for stopping by and for taking the time to read my post!
