Abercrombie Clothing Haul & Try-On!

It’s been boiling hot the past couple weeks. As I started swapping out my spring clothes for my summer clothes, I realized there were some gaps in my closet. I was namely in need of 3 things: a good white t-shirt, tank tops, and short-sleeve blouses for work. I did some shopping at Abercrombie, and wanted to do a clothing haul and try-on post and share the pieces while they’re still available.

Puff-Sleeve Babydoll Top

Abercrombie Peach Babydoll Blouse

This babydoll top is so sweet. The fit and flare of the peplum, the cap sleeves, and the peach print are all so feminine and pretty! I paired it with a pair of black trousers for an easy, business casual outfit. If your dress code is more formal, this top would look equally as cute with jeans. I purchased this top in size XXS and it fit true to size.

All-Over Smocked Flutter Sleeve Top

Anything with polka dots or spots instantly peaks my interest. I also liked the fitted bodice of this top, and the flutter sleeves would have been nice and airy for summer. This was another top that I planned to wear with trousers for work. Unfortunately, the fit is not quite right with this one.

Unlike the babydoll top, this top has smocking throughout the bodice and an elasticated ring around the entire hem. At this length, every time I lift my arms, the shirt rises up and exposes some midriff. When I lower my arms, the smocked bodice bunches, and the elasticated hem gets caught at the top of my trousers instead of fluttering over it like a peplum would.

I actually purchased this top in one size larger than my usual size, because it was the smallest size available at the time. I wanted to exchange it and try going up another size for added length, but it’s currently unavailable.

Tie-Strap Smocked Cami

Abercrombie Cherry Print Smocked Cami

I don’t know which one I love more – the cherry print or the peach print. They’re both adorable! This cherry print is available in a variety of shirt styles, some if which I shared in this blog post here, so if a smocked cami is not what you’re looking for, definitely check out the other cute styles on their site.

I got this cami in size XXS. It’s a snug, cropped fit, but it fits true to size. If you prefer more length, I would recommend going up at least one size.

All-Over Smocked Wide Strap Cami

I’m not usually attracted to floral prints, but there was something I liked about the colors in this floral pattern against the creamy white. Unfortunately, this top had the same elasticated ring around the hem as the green top. I originally purchased this top in XXS, but exchanged it for an XS for a more comfortable length and fit.

I hope you enjoyed this clothing haul and try-on! Which piece was your favorite? Let me know in the comments down below! And don’t forget to follow me on social media to stay in touch in between blog posts:
